Division for Entrepreneurship
At the division for entrepreneurship we engage in the activities for the promotion of entrepreneurship and the creation of a favourable climate for the development and growth of entrepreneurship. At the same time we engage in the activities aimed at influencing legislation in order to advance our mission by removing unnecessary administrative obstacles that stand in the way of setting up businesses and their development.
Our brief is also to implement measures in the field of education for an entrepreneurial society competitiveness, and training.
The varying activities carried out by the Division include improving the visibility of all-round support services for companies and prospective entrepreneurs and the co-ordination of activities and surveying the implementation of tasks carried out by the prominent members of the business community at the local and the regional levels in accordance with the Act regulating the Supportive Environment for Entrepreneurship.
We are pro-active participants also in the programmes of the European Union and other international linkages in the field of fostering entrepreneurship and competitiveness conceived as tools for facilitating the transfer of knowledge and good practice.
