Division for foreign investments
Activities of the division responsible for promoting foreign direct investments are focused in attracting foreign investors in Slovenia.
Within the framework of the promotion and marketing of Slovenia and its regions as locations of choice for foreign direct investments (hereinafter: FDI) there are activities designed to serve the purpose of the general promotion of Slovenia as a location of choice for FDI and at the same time channelled on generating FDI, that is on attracting foreign companies to land their investment projects in Slovenia.
When it comes to the action plan for promoting foreign direct investments, the focus is on increasing the numbero f FDI projects in Slovenia, primarily investment projects with higher value added.
We strive to provide to prospective foreign investors quality consultancy and other services, while eligible investment projects ready for launch can qualify also financial incentives awarded on the basis of evaluation of investment project proposed by applicants for co-financing in public tenders.
